A note from the founder

Fireside
Birmingham, AL
H1 2026

The first half of 2026 has been a period of real momentum at Fireside, and I'm more convinced than ever about what we're building.

Independent dental practices still run purchasing through disconnected systems, manual processes, and institutional knowledge. Fireside is replacing that complexity with an intelligent platform that combines collective buying power, workflow automation, and AI. Every transaction strengthens the network — what began as a better way to buy supplies is becoming the operating layer for how independent practices manage one of their largest expenses.

We now serve members in 36 states across 160 locations and 330 dentists, backed by 13 preferred partners spanning supplies, capital equipment, AI voice assistants, AI imaging, and compliance. The goal was never just cheaper supplies — it's a more profitable practice, across the board.

And the update I'm most excited about: Current. We're close to launching what we believe will be the first AI ordering assistant built for dentistry.

None of this happens without the right investment partners. We're excited about this opportunity and look forward to more conversation.

Warmly,

Bart Yancey

The operating layer

01 · Infrastructure

Modernizing one of healthcare's most overlooked workflows.

Independent practices still manage purchasing through disconnected systems and manual processes. Fireside replaces that complexity with an intelligent platform combining collective buying power, workflow automation, and AI.

02 · Compounding

Every purchase makes the platform smarter.

Every transaction strengthens the network — more predictive, more efficient, more valuable over time. What began as a better way to buy supplies is becoming the operating layer for how independents run their largest operating expense.

03 · Opportunity

The opportunity isn't better pricing. It's operational transformation.

Independents have lacked the scale, technology, and purchasing intelligence of large DSOs. With labor shortages and rising costs, administrative efficiency has never been more valuable.

Current

How we'll disrupt the category of purchasing.

Current

Fireside gives independent practices the buying power. Current puts that buying power on autopilot. It's the first AI ordering assistant purpose-built for dentistry: connected to Fireside preferred contracts, aware of every operatory's inventory, and always routing spend to the best-priced, in-stock option.

AI-native procurement

Voice, text, or one-tap approvals. Current reads invoices, matches SKUs, and reorders automatically — no more three-tab, three-vendor checkouts.

Fireside-preferred routing

Every order defaults to the best Fireside-negotiated contract in stock — capturing rebates and revenue share the manual way misses.

Integrated with your operating systems

Current syncs with your practice management software to read the procedures on your schedule — projecting inventory burn and reordering supplies before you run short.
